Potential mail services unavailable for owenthe.ninja/owenthe.dev from 7/20 to 7/24

owenthe.ninja & owenthe.dev are self-hosted on OVH using Mail-in-a-box. Unfortunately, I made the wonderful discovery that my IPv6 address is on the Spamhaus blocklist (as part of a /64 block), meaning there’s the potential that you might not have been able to send or receive email from any owenthe.ninja or owenthe.dev domain starting on July 20, 2026.

That’s not me!

Unfortunately, since Spamhaus is blocking the entire IPv6 block (and affecting other machines with it), I can’t request the entire block to be unblocked as…those are not my domains. As such, I have removed any AAAA mail-related DNS records for owenthe.dev and owenthe.ninja. Additionally, the mail box can only talk over IPv4 now, because the IPv4 address is not blacklisted.

If there was some mail that you wanted delivered to my inbox, but your server was rejecting it due to a Spamhaus blocklist issue, you should be good to go now. Oh the joys of running your own email server!
